The hook
My best hooks are barely hooks at all — one to eight words over the right first frame. No yelling, no gimmicks. The right few words, and people stay for the whole film.
Cinematic outdoor creator · iPhone & Nikon Z8
I'm an outdoor creator from Oregon, based in Phoenix, Arizona. Most of what I post is outdoor cinema — wild places, beautiful light, and a hook that earns the first three seconds — shot mostly on an iPhone. 150,000 people follow along. This is how, and why it works.
I'm Profound Reality. I grew up in Oregon, where my family has 30 acres of pine forest — home base. These days I'm based in Phoenix, Arizona, shooting between the desert, the canyons, and the high country, and heading back north whenever I need real trees.
Most of what I post is outdoor aesthetics with a strong hook — cinematic short films of wild places, shot mostly on iPhone. You may have seen the build series too — a bed in a treetop, the sunset bench, forts in the snow. Those are about 30% of it; the rest is the West itself, filmed well. And when a camera does come out, it's a Nikon Z8 — in a Sony-dominated space, I'm the Nikon guy, and that's where my color grading comes in.
No paid push behind any of it — just years of posting and reading what the analytics actually say.

Four things, mastered over years of posting — on an iPhone and on a camera. This is the craft underneath every number above.
My best hooks are barely hooks at all — one to eight words over the right first frame. No yelling, no gimmicks. The right few words, and people stay for the whole film.
Golden hour isn't luck — it's planning around the one minute a ridge actually glows, and capturing clean audio while it happens. Mastered on both the iPhone and the Z8; most creators only ever fix one of the two.
When the camera comes out, every frame is graded by hand to feel like film stock, not a filter — warm highlights, deep greens, skin that stays real. A process, not a preset, and the skill camera shooters ask me about most.
I've been posting for years — I started with gaming clips on TikTok, long before the outdoor films. Those reps taught me what most creators never learn: how the algorithm actually decides, how to get yourself out there, and how to optimize your whole social media environment so good videos go viral.
How much to post. Who to follow. When to post, and what to do between posts. The craft gets a video made — this gets it seen.
Two months of working together directly — whether you shoot on an iPhone or you're picking up a camera for the first time. Here's exactly what that looks like.
This isn't a course you watch alone — it's me in your corner for two months: reviewing your videos, fixing what's not working, and planning your content with you. Spots are limited, and enrollment runs through Whop.
